The grand unveiling was hosted by Liverpool star and former Radio City presenter, Leanne Campbell, officially launching the store on 14 November at Kew Retail Park
The North West Air Ambulance Charity (NWAA) has opened a brand-new charity superstore at Kew Retail Park, Southport, bringing one of the largest retail spaces of its kind to the area.
The store, which spans 5,000 square feet, hosted a grand opening event on Friday 14 November at 11:00am, with former Radio City presenter Leanne Campbell on hand to welcome its first shoppers.
The new superstore offers an extensive range of pre-loved clothing, furniture, homeware, books, and more – all at affordable prices. Every purchase directly supported NWAA’s lifesaving work, funding critical care missions across the North West.

This opening adds to NWAA’s much-loved Southport town centre shop on Tulketh Street, which remains open and will continue serving the local community.
David Whittle, Senior Head of Operations at NWAA, said: “We couldn’t wait to welcome everyone to our new store at Kew Retail Park. The Southport community has always been so supportive, and this new space gives us even more opportunities to recycle, reuse, and raise funds for our cause. Every donation, every purchase, and every volunteer makes a real difference.”
To make the new store a success, NWAA asked for the community’s support in three key ways:
- Volunteer: Just a few hours each week could make a huge difference.
- Shop: Pick up bargains while supporting a lifesaving charity.
- Donate: High-quality, gently used clothing, furniture, household items, bric-a-brac, and books.
