“We are incredibly proud of what our colleagues have achieved this year. Raising over £26,000 for two vital charities is a fantastic effort, and we’re really looking forward to continuing our partnership for another year and building on the brilliant fundraising our colleagues have done so far.”
Hayley Blair, Operations Director at Story Homes
Leisure Lakes Bikes has been working with NWAA for several years, recognising the impact the charity has on the cycling community. LLB’s own mountain bike events help raise the profile of the business and the charity, as well as generating valuable income for our lifesaving service. LLB have benefitted from staff presentations and promotional reach across the region.
“NWAA has supported our staff, families and customers in hard‑to‑reach situations over the years. Their vital service has made the difference in serious incidents & we are eternally grateful for their fantastic efforts. We proudly support NWAA and are incredibly grateful to the crew who go above and beyond when it matters most.”
Following their sponsorship of our Brew for the Crew initiative, donation of tea bags, and social media giveaways, Lancashire Tea have continued their involvement with the charity for another year. During our 25th anniversary year, Lancashire Tea featured the NWAA logo on the front of their tea boxes, with a full side panel dedicated to informing their customers about the work of the charity. This initiative has spread NWAA’s reach across the North West and beyond, with Lancashire Tea boxes being stocked in outlets across the UK.
Phil Toms, Head of Marketing for Lancashire Tea said, “We are proud to be associated with the fantastic team at NWAA and the wonderful work they do across the region helping save lives on a daily basis. Featuring their logo on pack hopefully played a small part in further raising the profile and to drive others to support the charity.”
Manchester-based financial services provider, Together, generously provided funding towards NWAA’s ‘Doctor-Copter’ Helimed 72 for two years. The £200,000 sponsorship will enable our lifesaving crew to continue providing enhanced pre-hospital care to patients across the North West. In 2025 we supported one of their employees, Sarah Knight and her sister Liz, to share CPR awareness skills for around 100 Together employees. Sarah suffered a cardiac arrest while on a date with her husband in 2023, with our crew attending the scene to provide lifesaving care.
Sarah described it as serendipitous that her workplace supports NWAA, making the sessions a meaningful way to celebrate the one-year anniversary of their partnership.
Booths has been an incredible long-standing supporter of our lifesaving work. Since launching their Pennies initiative in-stores, Booths have raised over an outstanding £150,000 for the North West Air Ambulance Charity, with their support continuing in 2026 across 5 stores in the North West.
Chris Andrews, Corporate Partnership Officer at the North West Air Ambulance Charity, said “We are so grateful to Booths and their staff and customers for their support. The money they have raised is vital to our operations and will allow us to continue providing enhanced pre-hospital care to critically injured patients across the North West.”
