Take on the NWAA Firewalk

Ready to challenge yourself and do something extraordinary?

Join us on Saturday 20th February 2027 at Blackpool and The Flyde College for the North West Air Ambulance Charity Firewalk and experience the thrill of walking barefoot across hot wooden embers.

This unforgettable challenge is about more than just crossing the fire. It's an opportunity to push beyond your comfort zone, build confidence, and prove to yourself that you can achieve more than you ever thought possible. Whether you're taking part for personal growth, as a team-building challenge, or alongside friends and family, the Firewalk promises to be an inspiring and empowering experience.

Most importantly, every step you take will help raise vital funds for North West Air Ambulance Charity. Your support helps keep our helicopters operational, funds specialist crew training, and enables us to deliver pre-hospital emergency care to patients across the North West when every second counts.

How to get involved

Getting involved is easy.

Complete the registration form to secure your place. Entry costs just £15, and once you’re signed up, set up your fundraising page and raise as much as you can to support our lifesaving service.

Join #TeamNWAA, take on the fire, and help us continue bringing the hospital to the patient.

Registration Fee: £15 | Minimum fundraising target : £135

Thank you to the crew at the charity for saving my life, with their quick thinking and performance – in what must have been a very high-pressure situation. I was written off all the way but the decisions they made have given me more time with my family and children.
