Pat’s Story

Pat walked five miles every day for 70 consecutive days, completing her final walk on her 70th birthday to thank NWAA for saving her son‑in‑law’s life.

Pat said, “The care Mike received at the roadside was critical. If the crew hadn’t done what they did, he wouldn’t have made it to the hospital. I think about that every day. Since then, he’s made a remarkable recovery.”

How you can help?

It is only thanks to the generosity of people like you that we were able to attend over 3,000 incidents last year, making a difference to the lives of many throughout the region.

Whether you fundraise, volunteer, or donate, you are securing the future of our charity.

M&S Middlebrook

Colleagues at M&S Middlebrook in Bolton went the extra mile for NWAA, completing the 16km Derwent Water Circular walk in over five hours.
