North West Air Ambulance Charity (NWAA) is delighted to announce the appointment of Kevin Fisher and Rajarshi Mukherjee (Rishi) to its Board of Trustees, following approval by the Board on 9 July 2026.
With all necessary formalities now complete, Kevin and Rishi officially join the Board and will help provide strategic direction, oversight and governance, ensuring the charity remains well placed to deliver its lifesaving mission across the North West now and into the future.
Kevin brings a wealth of experience in people and culture, having built a successful career in senior HR leadership roles across a range of sectors in the UK and internationally. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), he has led teams and programmes spanning recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, reward, internal communications and community engagement. Kevin will also chair NWAA’s People & Culture Sub Committee, helping to shape and support the charity’s people strategy.
Rishi is a Surgeon Scientist at the University of Liverpool and an Honorary Consultant General and Major Trauma Surgeon at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Alongside his clinical and academic work, he has extensive experience in research, innovation and strategic leadership. He is passionate about advancing world-class pre-hospital critical care through clinical innovation, education and partnership working.

Kevin and Rishi join existing Trustees Kim, Dan, Simon and Stewart, further strengthening the breadth of expertise and experience guiding the charity. Their appointments will support NWAA as it continues to deliver specialist pre-hospital emergency care to the eight million people living across the North West.
