The North West Air Ambulance Charity (NWAA) is inviting the Merseyside community to come together for a magical evening of music and celebration at its first-ever Carols by Candlelight event.
Taking place on Tuesday, 9 December 2025, from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm, the concert will be held in the stunning surroundings of St George’s Hall, Liverpool.
The festive evening will be hosted by Liverpool Radio Star Claire Simmo, and is expected to be an unforgettable experience, featuring traditional carols, live performances, and a joyful atmosphere. Guests will enjoy the warmth and spirit of Christmas while helping to raise vital funds for NWAA’s lifesaving work.
The charity receives no government or NHS funding, relying entirely on donations to keep its helicopters and night cars operational across the North West.

Charlotte Carnell, Events Manager at NWAA, said: “We're thrilled to bring this festive event to Liverpool. It’s a wonderful opportunity for families and friends to celebrate the season while supporting a cause that saves lives every day.”
Funds raised from Carols by Candlelight will help NWAA continue to provide enhanced pre-hospital care to critically ill and injured patients across the region. Every mission costs an average of £4,500, and with demand for services increasing, community support is more vital than ever.
