Support volunteer (events)
With your support, we can continue flying to save lives
Events come in all shapes and sizes and if you’re outgoing, keen to engage with the public, or looking for events experience, this could be the role for you. From cheer squads to medal presenters and bag packers, our event volunteers help support and represent us as we raise vital funds for our service.

What you’ll get up to
- Act as an ambassador for the charity and talk to people about the work we do
- Meet and greet participants and spectators at events
- Help set up and clear down the event
- Support participants as they take part in challenge events, by marshalling, cheering, or handing out medals
- Help with administration
- Sell merchandise or collect donations
- Dependent upon your experience you could even get involved with training or driving an information trailer
What we need for you
- Good people skills
- A strong team player
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Interest in fundraising
- Energy and enthusiasm no matter the weather!

When and where you can volunteer
Events can take place on any day of the week. If you’re flexible and can get involved during the week, in the evening, or at the weekend, we can find a role for you.
