Secure your place in this multi-award winning marathon!
Join #TeamNWAA and run in the Chester Marathon on 11th October 2026. By raising vital funds, you will help us make a difference to those who need us most.
This mainly flat course is a three time winner of the UK’s Marathon (up to 5,000 runners. Starting and finishing at Chester race course, you’ll run through this historic town, making your way into the beautiful countryside of Cheshire and North Wales. 19 miles of this race will be covered in England with 7 miles taking place in Wales.
Throughout the route you’ll be cheered on by crowds and there will be plenty of entertainment, hydration and refreshment stations provided along the way. The event organisers also offer support in the form of monthly training sessions & seminars, to get you ready for the big day.

Thank you to the crew at the charity for saving my life, with their quick thinking and performance – in what must have been a very high-pressure situation. I was written off all the way but the decisions they made have given me more time with my family and children.

As a member of Team NWAA, we promise to give you lots of support and encouragement along the way. You’ll be offered a fundraising pack filled with hints, tips and ideas to increase your fundraising, a free NWAA t-shirt and supporter signs to cheer you on! Our events team will be there to support all aspects of your fundraising – it is only thanks to your generosity that we can do what we do.
