How to Get Involved
Ready to take on the marathon in its historic home? Join #TeamNWAA for the Athens Marathon on 8th November 2027 and turn your determination into a force for good.
To apply for your charity place, simply complete our registration form and pay the £45 registration fee. You’ll also be committing to a minimum fundraising target of £750.
Once you’re registered, our friendly fundraising team will be here to support you throughout your journey. From helping you get your fundraising page up and running to sharing ideas for reaching your target, we’ll be on hand with advice and encouragement as you prepare for race day.
Every pound you raise will help North West Air Ambulance Charity deliver lifesaving emergency pre-hospital care across the North West, helping our specialist crews be there when every second counts.
Whether you’re running to achieve a personal goal, challenge yourself in a new way or experience one of the most historic races in the world, you’ll be making every mile count.

As a member of Team NWAA, we promise to give you lots of support and encouragement along the way. You’ll be offered a fundraising pack filled with hints, tips and ideas to increase your fundraising, a free NWAA t-shirt and supporter signs to cheer you on! Our events team will be there to support all aspects of your fundraising – it is only thanks to your generosity that we can do what we do.
