Join #TeamNWAA and take part in the Great Manchester Run running in the 10k or half marathon!
Setting off from Portland Street you’ll run through the city to the finish line at Deansgate. See beautiful sights of Manchester while you run with entertainment stations at every turn, a party from start to finish!
You won’t be shy of supports as there is many loud and enthusiastic local supporters in the UK that come out to cheer on all runners.

By registering your interest for 2027, you’ll be the first to hear when North West Air Ambulance Charity places become available. We’ll keep you updated with all the key information, including launch dates, how to secure your spot, fundraising support, and everything you need to get ready for race day.
Joining our interest list also means you’ll have plenty of time to start planning your training and fundraising, so you can make the most of your Great Manchester Run experience while supporting lifesaving work across the North West.
Thank you to the crew at the charity for saving my life, with their quick thinking and performance – in what must have been a very high-pressure situation. I was written off all the way but the decisions they made have given me more time with my family and children.
How we’ll support you
As a member of Team NWAA, we promise to give you lots of support and encouragement along the way. You’ll be offered a fundraising pack filled with hints, tips and ideas to increase your fundraising, a free NWAA t-shirt and supporter signs to cheer you on! Our events team will be there to support all aspects of your fundraising – it is only thanks to your generosity that we can do what we do.
